Removing Obstacles
October 21 , 2005

Dale Noll has taught at Hope Street for 6 years and is currently assisting with student services and classroom instruction.

It is our mission at Hope Street to assist students on the path toward their diploma. Every student has unique situations and circumstances that sometimes inhibit their progress on the road to a high school diploma. Obstacles that confront our young people today can seem daunting.

It is easy for students to confuse their priorities. In young people's lives the importance of an education can take a back seat to personal issues that hinder students' abilities to see clearly the issues that hinder students' abilities to see clearly the necessity of their education. It is the goal of Hope Street Academy to remove any potential reasons a student may have for allowing their education to drop on their priority list.

Our Extended Day and Online Programs provide additional avenues for our students to make progress toward their goal of earning a high school diploma. The Extended Day Program allow a student the flexibility to attend class from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Students may use the Extended Day Program as a substitute for a traditional 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM class schedule. Others use Extended Day in conjunction with a partial afternoon schedule by attending school from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Many students use Extended Day as an opportunity to pick up an additional class or two that they are short of graduating. Regardless of the reason, the flexibility of the Extended Day program removes student excuses for not being able to attend school and be successful.
